TradesBro ("we," "us," or "the app") is a business-management app for independent contractors. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. We built TradesBro to keep your business data private and under your control.
Your business data — customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, expenses, checklists, and your business profile — is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain a central copy of this data on our servers, and we do not sell or share it.
When you use the receipt-scanning feature, the photo you capture is sent securely to our processing service and an AI provider solely to read the merchant, amount, tax, and date from that image so the app can fill in the expense for you. Receipt images are used only to perform this extraction and are not used for advertising or sold to anyone.
When you send a customer a payment link, payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Card and banking details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored by TradesBro. Stripe's handling of that information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
If you subscribe to TradesBro Pro, the subscription is processed through the Apple App Store and our subscription-management provider. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not receive your full payment details.
The app requests access to your camera and photo library only so you can attach receipt photos and a business logo. These are used solely for the features you choose to use.
TradesBro is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
